Terms of use

Service and responsibilities

MatchLayer provides event profiles, recommendations, introductions and meeting coordination. The operator’s identification is on Operator & contact. Organizers separately control event admission, venue arrangements and attendee data. These terms do not replace an organizer agreement or data-processing agreement.

Age and event access

The organizer determines the event’s minimum age. Minors may attend only under that event’s rules and the applicable requirements for legal capacity, data processing and representative authorization. An event being open to children is not blanket consent to profile or contact them. Organizers must assess safeguards before importing minors. Optional analytics and cross-event Pass are for declared adults only.

Fair use

Use accurate professional information, keep invitation/sign-in links private, and access only identities or events you are authorized to manage. Do not impersonate others, scrape profiles, send unsolicited bulk promotions, upload unlawful content or defeat security controls. Organizers must have authority to import necessary participant data, provide privacy information and respect objections and deletion requests.

Recommendations and availability

Matches and scores are suggestions, not endorsements, verified reviews, professional advice or guaranteed outcomes. You decide whom to contact. Service availability may be interrupted. Access restrictions for security or abuse must be proportionate and respect applicable rights.

Charges, cancellation and refunds

The website has no checkout, payment collection, subscription renewal or cancellation fee and does not sell tickets. Pricing is agreed individually with each client according to the event, participant numbers and scope. Before acceptance, the written proposal must state the total price, applicable taxes, included services, payment schedule, cancellation/refund conditions and any renewal. No additional fee or renewal may be imposed without disclosure and agreement. Refunds for tickets bought elsewhere are handled by that seller. No blanket “no refunds” rule applies. Mandatory consumer remedies and withdrawal rights remain intact, including where applicable to digital services provided in exchange for personal data. Paid plans require separate price, renewal, cancellation and statutory information before launch.

Content and intellectual property

You retain rights in your content. Processing and display are limited to the networking features you use and the privacy notice. Do not upload material you have no right to use. Third-party software retains its respective licences.

Leaving and resolving problems

Stop using the service, delete an optional Pass, or submit an event data request. Clearing device data does not erase server records. Contact matchlayer.operations@outlook.com for support, privacy or abuse reports. Nothing here excludes mandatory consumer protection, liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or complaints to competent authorities/courts. No exclusive jurisdiction or forced arbitration is imposed.
